The Noguchi Sculpture Garden, California Scenario, is a yearround attraction to enjoy and experience. Amid the buzz of the city office buildings, malls, and freeways, there’s a sacntuary that celebrates California’s diversity in nature. The garden is a collection of scultpures, plantings, and landscaping elements that portray California – a state with so many wonders in the environment. From desert to beach; palms to redwoods; mountain to sea – California is amazing!

When to visit?
The gardens are open daily from 8am-midnight. They are free to peruse. You’ll find them right by South Coast Plaza. Just take the 405 to Bristol East. Turk right on Anton, right on Park Centre Drive. Follow the signs into the parking garage. Note – you will need to pay a parking fee during the week but if you go on Sunday it is free to park. Plus you can enjoy a nice meal at the nearby T.G.I. Friday’s or Jerry’s Famous Deli.
Who is Isama Noguchi?
Isama is famous in the art world. A California native, he is best known for being a sculptor. He took on this project, which he considered an amazing abstract view of the California environment. He was born in LA in 1904 and passed in 1988. His legacy will live on through this project and many others.
