365 Things To Do In Costa Mesa – Visit Your Fire Houses – Day 87

Fire House Open House

All Costa Mesa Fire Stations are holding an open house today from 10am-1pm. This is a great event for everyone to learn a thing or two and be entertained. Little kids will really enjoy this opportunity – the fire pole, the fire trucks, the hoses, the suits – it’s quite an adventure!

Fire Prevention Month is Underway!

The open houses are being held in observance of Fire Prevention month. If you go to the Fire Department website, they have lots of great tips about fire safety and safety in general (earthquake planning, car accidents, etc.) One of the cool things you can do is talk to the fire experts about your evacuation plan so take this opportunity to get prepared!
