Costa Mesa Halloween Events
#1 – Morning – Pumpkins & Pancakes
Start the day with a healthy haunted breakfast at Pumpkins & Pancakes! This is the 19th year of doing this fun event at South Coast Plaza and it’ll give you energy to tackle the rest of the spirit-filled opportunities available today. Just head over to South Coast Plaza from 8am-11am and get some pancakes, pumpkins, do some pumpkin decorating, enjoy live entertainment, dance, trick-or-treat, and much more! Costumes are welcome!
The event is hosted by Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which trains people to help abused and neglected children.
Two and under = free

#2 – Afternoon – Come to the Macabaret: Trick-or Treat Festival and Halloween Hearse Show
The Orange County Marketplace is holding their 13th annual Trick-or-Treat Festival and 11th Annual Halloween Hearse Show. Yay, free trick-or-treating from 10am-2pm! (Is there an age limit? haha) Enjoy magic, puppets, comedy… There will even be a costume parade at 12:15pm and a Halloween costume contest right after that for kids 13+! The hearses will be on display all day too (and there will be a hearse procession at 10am).
And get a load of the freaky way they are turning the blood & gore of Halloween into a good thing: They are having a blood drive! What a cool combo. Thumbs up!
The OC Marketplace has a $2 admission charge and children under 12 are free.
Where will you be today and what will you dress up as?
