Costa Mesa – so close to the coast that surf culture is part of our makeup. And an artist who’s work epitomized the SoCal surf culture of the 1960s is going to be making a trip to South Coast Plaza on Saturday, November 27, 2010. John Van Hamersveld, the artist who created the iconic, colorful poster for “Endless Summer” will be visiting the Surfing Heritage Muesum.
Hamersveld also designed album covers for popular bands in the 60s and 70s like The Beatles, KISS, The Rolling Stones, The Grateful Dead, Blondie, and many more!
