365 Things To Do In Costa Mesa – Jiu-Jitsu – Day 177

Jiu-Jitsu is a martial art and it’s all about teaching people how to gain leverage no matter what size they are. It’s a method of self-defense and taught right here in Costa Mesa by local James Boran, who instructs classes on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques.

Boran has quite the history. He was actually a free agent for the New York Jets. In 2000 he opened Boran Jiu-Jitsu and he himself is a 2nd degree black belt.

Classes are available for people of all ages and it’s a great way to improve your atheltic abilities as well. Guess what? The first clas is FREE! Check out the website for more information at http://www.boranjj.com.
