365 Things to Do In Costa Mesa – Skosh Monahan’s & Pop Warner – Day 200

Go Irish!

I have been looking forward to writing this blog because I LOVE Skosh Monahan’s. It’s a fun, traditional, happening, Irish bar. Having gone to college in Boston where there’s an Irish pub on every corner, I desperately miss scenes like this. They have the great food that you’d expect at an Irish pub like steak, cornbeef & cabbage, and shepherd’s pie… And they also have food for kids, seafood, and lots of drinks. In fact they have a really fun Happy Hour from 4-6:30pm Monday-Saturday and Sunday from 9:30am-6:30pm (wow, start early!).

The pub is famous for showing sports on their many plasmas. It’s just a fun spot!

One thing I LOVE is that the countdown for St. Patty’s Day is officially ON! It’s currently at 44 days to go.

The Pop Warner Connection

On Monday, January 31, 2011 Skosh Monahan’s is helping support our local Pop Warner Football team. There will be current and former NFL players there to help fundraise and raffle tickets will be available. Plus 20% of anything bought after 4pm will be donated to Pop Warner. So go eat up, drink up, and support the Eagles!
