365 Things To Do In Costa Mesa – Get Your Act Together – Day 202

Lights, Camera, Action!

Do you like acting or do you want to get more practice with public speaking? If so then Robert Michael Conrad’s class is for you! Conrad is a distinguished acting instructor and he will be offering two classes in Costa Mesa starting in February 2011. The classes are called “Acting for the Camera” and “Cold Reading.”

Your 15 Minutes of Fame?

Everyone who participates in the class will be filmed on camera practicing their scripts from TV shows, commercials and films. The videotapes scenes will be included in a reel of casting auditions for a cable TV show called “The Actors Showplace.” Who knows – it could be your lucky day!

Joining the class is by audition only on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 from 6:30-7:30pm. Classes will be held on Wednesday nights from 7-10pm and cost $29/class. Classes will be limited to 12 people max and anyone who auditions should bring a photo, resume, and 2-minute prepared monologue from a film or play.
