365 Things To Do In Costa Mesa – Let Them Eat (Bundt) Cakes! – Day 237

Bundt Cakes – All Good!

Welcome to Nothing Bundt Cakes, a new shop in Eastside Costa Mesa. This new bakery is bringing some sweet stuff to E 17th Street. Here’s why I think bundt cakes are good – besides the obvious taste reasons.

1. On Friday, March 11, 2011 Nothing Bundt Cakes is donating 20% of all their proceeds to Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC).  This is an all day event from 9am-6pm so get a bundt cake for a morning treat, a 3pm sugar rush, or dessert! Plus from 4-6pm there will even be face painting for the kids.

2. On Saturday, March 12, 2011 the first 50 customers who buy a bundt cake will receive one free Bundtlet per month for a year!

Make sure to check out the last blog we posted about the day Nothing Bundt Cakes opened in Costa Mesa.

What flavor bundt cake do you enjoy the most?

  1. Idon’t know what a bundt cake is (never seen one in England) but the shop sounds like it is reaching out to the wider community – and garnering some good publicity.
I like the idea of a blog on 365 things to do – v. imaginative.
