365 Things to do in Costa Mesa – Pacific Chorale – Day 264

Pacific Chorale is one of America’s great choirs, delighting audiences with exceptional choral performances since 1968. Under the guidance of Artistic Director John Alexander, widely considered one of the finest choral conductors in the country, Pacific Chorale has infused an Old World art form with California’s hallmark innovative and cultural independence.

As the resident choir of Renée and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall, Pacific Chorale is one of the top 10 budgeted choruses in the nation, with a professional core of 140 singers. It consists of two ensembles, the 140-voice Pacific Chorale and 24-voice John Alexander Singers. The Chorale is the guest choir for leading regional and visiting orchestras including Pacific Smyphony, Los Angeles Philharmonic, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra and the Boston Pops.
