Laguna Beach is known for being a vibrant arts community in Orange County. At the center of that creative community is the Laguna Arts Museum. Founded in 1918 by early California artists, the Laguna Arts Museum exclusively collects only California art for its galleries.
The history of California is displayed at the Laguna Art Museum with all different styles and periods, with works ranging from the nineteenth-century to present-day. The museum’s collection, which includes over 3,500 works, exhibits and educational programs are dedicated to developing appreciation for art in California.
Today, the museum hosts a variety of events including artist talks, concerts, family days and showcases an array of works from its collection. The museum also offers a unique setting to host a private event or engagement.
The Laguna Art Museum is open Monday-Tuesday, Friday-Sunday 11am – 5pm and closed on Wednesdays. For admission details, group and individual tours, click here.
