365 Things to do in Costa Mesa – Orange Coast Lariats Square Dance Club – Day 343

The Orange Coast Lariats is a members only square dance club but don’t worry because they sponsor new dancer programs September through May. New dancers are encouraged to join the Orange Coast Lariats as associate members, associate members pay student donations for class enjoying full membership privileges but do not dance competitively with the club until they graduate. The OCL’s have been mentioned on yelp as a highlighted activity for seniors or “empty-nesters” so there are many older folks within the club but you’ll often see people of all ages. Members provide a fun and friendly environment and your first class is free!
