365 Things to do in Costa Mesa – Brea Downtown Jazz Festival – Day 346

Discover all styles of Jazz in this three day musical extravaganza. Day long festivities include a Fine Arts & Crafts Show, dining, beer & wine Garden & kids zone & jazz performers. The main stage will be located on Birch Street, with free seating of 800 chairs. A VIP seating section will provide the option of purchasing a ticket for a seat within a reserved seating area. Reserved seating for headliners includes one seat at a table by the stage, and a private bar located within the reserved seating area.

General Admission is free & seating is on a first come, first serve basis. The Brea Jazz Festival beer & wine Garden will be brought to you by a Brea service club & a portion of the proceeds benefit the charity of their choice. Presented along with the Brea Jazz Festival are innovative fine arts & crafts works from various exceptional artists and craftsmen offering high quality original artwork in differing styles of contemporary, traditional, modern, and southwest art.

Kids are welcome at the festival and there will even be a designated “Kids Zone” Saturday & Sunday 1:00pm to 5:00pm with activities including a 52 Ft Obstacle Course, Slip & Slide, and Fun Express Train.

Free parking is available in two parking structures and two surface lots in Brea Downtown. Local’s tip: The best place to park is on the lower levels of the Birch St parking structure behind Ralphs.  Follow the “Free Event Parking” signs for plenty of parking and convenient elevators.
