Participate in this Turkey Workshop



On November 9th, 2015, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Surfas Culinary District on 3309 Hyland Ave., Costa Mesa, California 92626, there will be a Turkey Workshop being offered from brining to carving.

Attendees will be preparing a Thanksgiving turkey from brining to carving and all things in between. In the workshop, you will learn basic roasting tips, tips on choosing the best turkey and how you can carve the turkey into your own masterpiece. You will learn how you can make gravy and tips on creating homemade stock.

The Surfas Culinary District test kitchen is a hub of fun and culinary education for the food scene. With classes and programs for every Culinary level from novice home cook to Professional, the Test Kitchen includes a location for intriguing hands-on courses from Pastry, Italian, French, Mexican and Indian fare, as well as kid’s workshops and programs. Most Saturdays international and local food professionals lead complimentary cooking demonstrations which are open to everyone and always informative and engaging.
