Yuja Wang & Russian National Orchestra



On Feb. 24th, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts on 600 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa, California 92626 Yuja Wang and Russian National Orchestra will be performing.

The Russian National Orchestra, this season, will celebrate 25 years as one of top ensembles in Russia and one of the leading orchestras in the world. Yuja Wang, internationally renowned pianist, additionally will perform within her 3rd consecutive Philharmonic Society season.

The Russian program, conducted by Mikhail Pletnev, involves Shostakovich’s Festive Overture, as well as Stravinsky’s Suite from 1945’s The Firebird, and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 2 within G major, Op. 44.
