St. Lawrence String Quartet



On Apr. 8th, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts on 600 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa, California 92626 the St. Lawrence String Quartet will be visiting Costa Mesa.

As it enters its twenty-sixth season, the world-traveled St. Lawrence String Quartet, based at Stanford University, has reached the peak of its profession. Its playing thrills the senses. Its communicative relationship with its audience makes whatever it plays tends to accessible and fascinating. In the concert of this season, they’ll play a work especially created for them by John Adams, an America composer. The program will open and close with two wonderful quartets by Joseph Haydn, a composer with whom John Adams feels a certain affinity.
