19th Annual Pacific Playwrights Festival


From Apr. 22nd, 2016 to Apr. 24th, 2016 at the South Coast Repertory on 655 Town Center Dr., Costa Mesa, California 92626 the Pacific Playwrights Festival every year presents 7 new plays in full productions and staged readings within a 3-day period. Audiences comprise of local playgoers, as well as representatives from theatres around the nation.

The Festival offers a collecting place for theatre professionals and writers to connect and share interests and ideas in the context of a festival promoting the best and latest in American playwriting.

South Coast Repertory, in June 1998, launched their 1st annual Pacific Playwrights Festival. Since that time, 123 plays were presented, some of which now are mainstays within American contemporary theater.
